Remove pages from a PDF

Every page in your document appears as a numbered square. Tap the ones you want gone — they turn red and struck through, so what you are deleting is always obvious before you commit. For a long run, type it into the box instead (1, 4, 11-13) and press Tick; you can keep adding and still untick individual squares afterwards.

There are no thumbnail previews here, and that is a deliberate trade: rendering page images in the browser needs a second, far heavier library downloaded to your device. Open the PDF in another tab, note the page numbers, and come back — it is faster than waiting for previews to draw.

Scanners produce blank backs of pages. Downloaded question banks come with the answer key attached, which you do not want while practising. Institute templates add a cover sheet and a plagiarism declaration you already submitted separately. A shared set of notes has three pages from a different subject in the middle.

Cutting the dead pages also cuts printing cost, which at a campus photocopy shop is real money per page.

The page count, the grid and the trimmed file are all produced inside your browser. Nothing is uploaded — which matters here in particular, because the pages people remove are usually the private ones: an ID proof, an address page, a bank detail attached to a scholarship form.

Removing pages does not always shrink the file by much: a deleted page's images can remain in the document's object pool. Run the result through the compressor if size is what you are after. You cannot delete every page — a PDF must keep at least one — and password-protected files are refused with an explanation.
